I just had a pretty weird experience with Club World Casino. As usual, I received a mail from them telling me about their latest offers. This time I found one I liked:

Great, I thought, good bang for the buck this weekend. I'll give it a go! Open the Casino, go to the cashier, put in the code..
"Unable to redeem coupon, contact support"

I suspected I might have an old code still hanging around and contacted live support asking them why I couldn't redeem it. The chat went like this:

Ian: Hi Ole.
Ole (me): hello Ian
Ian: I am afraid as you have only made one deposit so far you do not qualify to use this coupon. Only after you have made 3 deposits do you qualify to use the normal player coupons.
Ole: Oh, I see..why do you send me mails regarding these offers if they don't apply to me?
Ian: These offers are sent to all players.
Ian: The offer does not expire till sunday so you are still able to use it if you wish
Ole: I can't find anywhere in the rules saying that I have to deposit 3 times before being eglible, where do you state this rule?
Ian: It is not stated on the Promotion Terms and Conditions. But is for specific player classes
Ian: Is there anything else i can help you with?
Ole: Well, I'm still not clear on your bonus rules, where can I find a complete set of rules?

Ole: That says nothing about 3 deposits etc.. ?
Ian: Ole you are free to use this coupon. however only after your player status has changed can you do so. This can only be done after you have made 3 deposits.

So..if they have a clause like this, why not just put it in the terms? Makes me wonder if there are any othe clauses they don't want to write down..

Did not expect this from an accredited casino! The bonus don't matter, I can actually agree on the clause, IF they bothered to put it in the terms anywhere.

Am I the only one thinking this is wrong?

Personally I don't agree with this and I play CW all the time.
I think he said it all when he said

IMHO You received the email. Why should you NOT be able to claim the coupon?
Unless you have not deposited at all.

The next thing I would be Leary of is the amount of the free chips which could actually turn around and bring you into a clause that some casino's have regarding "bonus abuse" .. which is "If the amount of bonuses exceeds the amount of deposits ..." this is one way they can refuse payments IF that is in their T&C's. (I am not sure if it is, CWC is one I have only taken the new player bonus on and now I play with just deposits, I don't like restrictions on cash outs, and have been taking fewer bonuses as of lately)

No biggie though. In my opinion they just lost $150 and whatever I'd decide to deposit in the future. I guess I'll have to stick with iNetBet, last RTG in my good book.

I seem to remember something in ClubWorld's original terms that said something about having to make 3 deposits before becoming eligible for any of their deposit bonuses.

I agree though, how hard is it not to send out mail to people who aren't eligible in the first place....? Oh wait, it must be tough because I'm still getting CDs with free play offers from Casino Rewards....

Yup, exactly the same I got, apart from the name and user name. Like they say - everyone gets the same offers..

#14 is the only 1 that I see mentions 3 an it isn't what they told them
