He would have a good reason to be upset if you only won because you were able to play in a currency he was not allowed to use.

Unltimately it is for the casino to set the rules and to apply them fairly and consistently.
You are absolutely right the casino set the rules and when they write me the mail that I am in the winners page I took a look and I promise if I would have seen 25020 CC(Casino Credits for example) and mine 25000 CC and not $25020 and €25000 I would have gone my way but if they make the difference on their winners page of course their will be some people having problems with that.I wouldnt say something against that if somebody would have won 24000 Pounds and won that cause it is a lot more than my Euro win.

And again think about we would all be playing in Pounds or Euro, the casino would have more income and even the affiliates would get more but when it comes to a promotion like that we are equal, is that fair?

    Cheers

Alex, no offense taken on the American poke..I know you didnt mean anything by it, everything seems to be focused on currency in this post.
Dont worry about editing your first post. Just make sure your email address is edited out of your sign up page - They will PM you (if they are signed up)if they want your email address and you dont have to answer. They dont know who you are unless you have Alexfinn as a handle for their casinos too..if that is the case I recommend you change your CM posting name so they cant get to you in the future and you can post freely!
Tommorrow is my birthday and I hope inetbet, bodog and intercasino sends me a bday bonus. So far....Zip!

Well, Happy Birthday then. Dont be too harsh on the casinos and cash out 10x the amount of the bonuses only.

Well I was only a little scared because I got two cheques coming worth 60.000 € , but now that I have read my first post again and see that it isnt bad just showing that they made BS with their E-Mail corespondence and me complaining about their "credits thing", which I still would complain again its all good.

And I dont think it would help to change my name cause I dont hope for the casino that they have more customers like me complaining that much with emails, phone calls and forum posts, but on the other hand I think it is good for them to have people like me, cause when I think about that I could have withdrawn 50000€ more the last three weeks in their casinos maybe some people understand why I was a little pi**ed about the outcome of the Laptop Drawing my second Gift and my Birthday Present.

Well thx anyway and I hope you have a nice Birthday and a nice Gift aswell

Here's a little story for you
There was a dog that had been walking for a very long time. He was past a little thirsty, when he looked up and saw this beautiful pond. The dog was so happy, he mustarded up enough energy and scampered to the pond to quinch his thirst. When the dog was getting ready to take a drink, he saw another dog with a bone.
The dog said to himself, dag that's a really big bone, I want that it. So he dog opened his mouth, to take the bone from the dog he saw in pond, and lost the bone he had in his mouth.
*My grandpa told me that story 50 years ago - for a reason.

Hahaha, funny that I should stumble upon this fable twice in the span of a week. I had just finished teaching this particular book to a class of mine this past Friday.

I suppose that these sort of things good/bad come in 3's, so I'll be careful the next time I stare into a pond, as not to be too greedy and make an unsuccessful attempt at snatching that other bucket of KFC "Original" Chicken.

    Its very simple ...

... if the competition rules only state that the player "who wins the most" gets the laptop then 25k Euros is more than 25k dollars so you did win the most. Thats a fact.

.... the rules would have to explicitly state that "wins the most" refers to number of games won (regardless of stakes) for the other player to win the lap top.

"who wins the most" and "who wins the most games" are completely different rules.

I think you have grounds to complain personally.

Well at the winners page it said the one with the highest single payout and nothing about credits, I just took a look at the terms and conditions and its a little funny but I think they changed. I think when I have read them last month there wasnt a term that 1$=1€=1P but thats ok for me.But nevertheless I will check that again cause I have taken a screenshot from the T&C last month and then I will see if I remember right.

    Currency

Don't forget this works both ways. Bonuses are also given in Casino Credits, and VIP's playing in UK Pounds get £300 on Tuesday, but players in Dollars get $300, less than £200.

They may consider changing the terms of the drawing though if a number of players complain.

Cash-in preferences ignored. This is down to their processor, Inexia; they are useless. I am constantly having things go wrong with mine, and they are going solely to Neteller, which should be the easiest for them to manage.
CS do not have the ability to "insist" that Inexia do anything to speed up the process of resolution. This is supposedly being addressed though, and perhaps we will see improvements.
I enjoy the innovative nature of the promotions, and the fact that every now and then they have big prizes up for grabs along with a live scoreboard for the event.

Say what? Where's the poke at Americans?

Did he say anything about Americans at all?

No he did not, he said *the casino*, which is probably South African, was favouring American players.

I guess now he has a legitimate thing to say about Americans though - they're too damn sensitive :-)
