    www.888.com - dubious bonus regulations

    hi there,

    I just won 9000$ playing at www.888.com / www.casino-on-net.com -- at least I thought so

As I already wagered the bonus amount 20 times (according to §1 in the bonus policy) I tried to cash out my winnings.
Than the support told me that I have to wager the bonus 200(!) times coz I deposited using moneybookers.
This is §6 in the bonus policy.
So I should wager $35000 more...

I know that players should read the policies but like most players I just read the first paragraph concerning the wagering restrictions.
IMHO it's really dubious that §6 overrules §1 and depositing money with moneybookers is the same as donating money to 888.com
I think that it is nearly impossible to win anything with this requirements?!?

I also haven't seen any casino with such extreme wagering requirements...

Does anyone else have experiences with 888.com?

    greetings

    Roman

    Wow, 200x is insane

But look on the bright - you shouldn't lose more than a few hundred dollars of your winnings if you play through the $35,000 on a low house edge game using smallish bets.

Just finish it up, cash out, and uninstall because you will never get anything worthwhile ther as long as you use Neteller or MoneyBookers.

200x Wagering requirement is extremely high and not actractive if you are a bonus hunter. But I fail to see the dubious actions on the part of 888/Casino-On-Net in this matter. It is not like the §6 is hidden away on a remote part of their website or left out like some casinos do. I see your situation more as a reminder that we players should always read the Casino T&C's and promotions T&C's thoroughly.

200x really high, but far from unbeatable. You have $9000, and if you play BJ, which has about a .5% edge, you'd only lose about $175 on average over the $35000 remaining wagering requirement.

    Hi,

The problem in fact is that these restrictions apply to all players and not only to "bonus-hunters" (what ever that is).
I am sure that especially bonus hunters read the T&C's carefully and will pay in with their credit card.
So mainly newbees are affected by this policy and I still think that paying in with moneybookers is the same than make a donation to 888/Casino-on-net...
(maybe not in my special case as I won a 10,000$ jackpot on a slot machine )

In one thing you are right that this is really a reminder that we should always read the T&C's (and not only §1 )

    so have a nice time...

leave the bonus in your account and withdrawa your deposit and winnings.
it doesn't violate the bonus policy, but 888 may refuse your withdrawal.
    try!

nothing you can do...... It's 50x for neteller. I guess it's their way of discouraging people from using these payment methods.

Yes, learn blackjack, play $100 bets, shouldn't take more than an hour.

    There's a strategy card here:

What moron would encourage credit cards over Neteller or MoneyBookers...IMHO That's dubious by proxy, even if it's clearly stated in their T&C's.

    Exactly my thoughts!

Why would anyone (customer or merchant) prefer CC over Moneybookers or Neteller ! Transaction costs are lower for Moneybookers or Neteller for both merchants and Customers!
For example NO SINGLE sportsbook prefers CC over any other deposit method!
Almost all sportsbooks charge for CC deposits while (especially for Moneybookers) e-wallets are free or colse to that!

Does anyone know more than I do?
