neteller refused to help me
i contacted neteller to report about the fraud of willhill. explained them that i made a deposit there, won there. will closed my account and refused to pay my winnings and even deposit, and i got this reply from them
Dear Mrs. Faheem, We have received a response from the merchant concerning the inquiry we had sent to their site on your behalf. The merchant has informed NETELLER that your withdrawal was not processed because your account there has been closed. Any such action taken in relation to an account held at their site would be the merchant's decision, made at their discretion. NETELLER does not own or operate merchant sites, and does not hold authority or jurisdiction over their policies or procedures. We apologize for any inconvenience, however it will be necessary for you to contact the merchant directly with any questions or concerns you may have concerning your account with their site. Regards, Tyler Public Relations PR@NETeller.com Toll Free: 888.258.5859 Local: 403.233.9466 Fax: 888.678.2128 Local Fax: 403.277.7996 NETELLER - The Leader in Online Payment Solutions welll, i guess then its very easy to commit a fraud with the support of opening an account with neteller.i really dont believe that a casino can rippff me this way and even refused to pay my deposit back, without any grounds. |

Wondering about the problem accounts..
Is it possible that you guys were obviously in there for the bonus ?
ie either now or in the past did you deposit, withdraw the deposit and play only the bonus ? Did you play BJ only ? Did you fulfill the WR and not play beyond it at all ? Just wondering... D. |

That's totally irrelevant in the case of them not refunding the player's deposit.

William Hill (same as all the others) is not in this business to lose money. The bonuses are intended to draw us in and lose our money - that's why they have all those vaguely worded phrases in their T&Cs. If you blatantly use the bonus (ie bonuswhore) I think you should expect to get shafted. Not refunding the deposit ? This isn't a bank, and neither is it a B&M casino or betting shop. WH want to stain their reputation ? May be bad business at the end of day (depending on who reads these posts), but that's up to them. Caveat Emptor. |

So, whoever repeats his point of view most times wins ? :-)
The guy should try and get his money back any way possible, and via the forum/PAB is great (I know I would if it ever happened to me). BUT it is naive at best to keep saying "that's not fair", "they can't do that", and so on. Do you really think the casinos give a sod what's fair or not ? The casino will do what they consider to be in their best interest. If the guy was blatantly in-your-face playing minimum WR and squeezing the max out of the bonus, I would expect them to react "unfriendly" - if I were giving away "free money" I would be touchy as well.... However, if this thread creates enough momentum (which I suppose I am contributing to..) they may decide they acted stupidly - i.e. this decision cost them more money in terms of lost business than it saved in terms of keeping away bonus whores. I assume at least some readers at have already decided not play at WH any more. If you want "fair", go to a big B&M casino. I have never yet had my chips confiscated. Even when I won.... |

Unless there is fraud on the player's part, the deposit should be returned. Similar to a chargeback by a player, casinos' confiscating deposits is an absolute no-no in the online gambling world.
