Lotto puts crimp on Bingo business
Bingo has been around for as long as anyone can remember. Be it in a church fellowship hall or in a smoke filled bingo hall, for years bingo was the only legal gambling around. That all changed when the North Carolina Education Lottery came to town.
Local Bingo parlor owners said they’ve seen a decline in business since the Lottery became available in 2006.
