My calculations show that there are 111,007,923,832,370,565 unique Bingo cards. I'm curious how they came up with 1,474,200.

EDIT: I found a description of that calculation here, but I still think it's incorrect. The five numbers chosen for any one given column can occur at the same time as any other five-number column, so adding them together is incorrect - they need to be multiplied together.

15 * 14 * 13 * 12 * 11 / 5! = 3,003 unique combinations for each of the B,I,G,O lines
15 * 14 * 13 * 12 / 4! = 1,365 unique combinations for the N line

3003 * 3003 * 1365 * 3003 * 3003 = 111,007,923,832,370,565 total unique card combinations

If order is important, then the figure quoted in the OP is correct:
111,007,923,832,370,565 * 5! * 5! * 4! * 5! * 5! = 552,446,474,061,128,648,601,600,000

I actually believe the bit about the guy going insane after trying to organize 6,000 unique cards. Back in those days, it all had to be done by hand...

I think you see more male gender playing bingo today (Like Foxwoods Bingo)than ever before.
But I say when it comes to males playing bingo online it's a so so not as many I think.

The sites I've checked in on seem to be more chat than play, and that fits the demographic the OP noted I think. I like to play the bonus joker bingo on RTG sometimes, but when I p[lay on a bingo site it is usually scratch cards and I like the parlay slots; hollywood reels, sunken treasures (?)etc.
