The GPWA is not legally registered, incorporated, licensed etc as an association; it is a message board owned and operated by one person with input from volunteers.
The thread on startcasino does give you an idea of what you'd be dealing with.
Hi Ashlar9,
The GPWA could be a very powerful and influential entity, but due to some managerial misguidance, this group has failed to be so.
I had a falling out with this group last April mainly because we had a conflict of philosophies when it comes to promoting online casinos. This was explained here in my newsletter which freaked a lot of people out. Especially some of the hardcore GPWAers.

Little do some people know...(I've told a few), that the "Gulf War II" was in full swing then, and I was freaking out a bit on my own, dealing with some personal issues (I'm a Gulf War I vet) and perhaps some of my PTSD was being vented out on the GPWA. But nevertheless, that's water under the bridge.
I defended myself here

Vortran had his comments here:

May 1st webcast (it's pretty funny)
And I made some observaces of the GPWA in Montreal here:

In a nutshell, this group could be highly effective if they could keep some of their more colorful members from posting on other people's message boards. It's pretty damn unprofessional. They also need to set up their business in a more legitimate manner for any one to take them seriously. Right now, they are under new management, so hopefully this is a sign that some productive changes are in the works.
Interesting!
Bryan's post is informative, well thought out, and interesting, including his thoughts on the GPWA as an entity in the online gaming industry.
Mary's post, on the other hand, is nothing but another tired attempt at "taking a shot" at Cindy.
Gee Mary, I really thought you were beyond this. Apparently, you aren't.
Mary, your post offered nothing of value, and is misleading and obviously biased by your ongoing grudge with the GPWA and Cindy, going back to the old OPA days.
Get over it, Mary. Enough is enough. She hasn't commented or mentioned you in a long while. Yet you "still" bring shit up.
You disappoint me.
is there anything about her post that is untrue?
anyways i didnt want to open a can of worms.
What new GPWA management, Bryan? Tell all or perhaps post a link to the news?
??
I thought everyone knew this. http://www.gpwa.net/docs/managerannouncement.shtml
It's been posted for a while, and I was surprised that there wasn't another round of GPWA conspiracy postings at WOL and elsewhere. Cindy has stepped down as manager, and now it's Wildbill at the reigns. Good luck Bill! It's unclear whether or not this is only temporary, but I still see Cindy doing the message board thing (from referred links in this thread).

quote:
The GPWA is not legally registered, incorporated, licensed etc as an association
It would really help if they would do this.
Nope, that one passed us by! Thanks for the link, Bryan.
Any idea which portals Wild Bill runs?
gasp!! jetset, you gettin' old? or just too busy? smile
I think this all was posted around the 20th of month everywhere.
Clean missed it - we must have been asleep that day!
