Slow forum.

Not over bothered just mentioning/asking really.

Anyone else find this board slow when trying to post?

Maybe it's my poota or dialup but i find this to be the slowest board to post on i've found on the whole net.Press send and wait and wait and wait.

Slower than the OPA board which is the same make and governor.

What do you reckon B~.

Yes, it is slow for now. For one thing the space this takes up is huge, about 200mb. I'm in the process of ugrading the board and have if fed via mysql, but that may not happen until tomorrow. You should notice a significant change after that.

I don't think you forum is slow at all except when I try to post a message, and then it takes forever. I think there maybe an error in your configuration of the back-end of the forum that is causing this. Why?

Well, when I post a message, it can take 3-4 minutes for the post to appear, and the topic to be reloaded. Very, very strange.

However, I noticed one thing. If after the first 10 seconds after posting a message(or reply), I click the "BACK" button on my browser, and reload the topic myself, that the message is already posted. It only takes me another 10 seconds to reload the topic.

Therefore, the message is really being posted immediately. There must be another reason WHY it is taking 3-4 minutes to load. My best guess is that the forum is creating some kind of archive or database of messages posted (you have this enabled in your config) and it takes a great deal time for it to do this.

Even the message that I posted today took forever.

One more Q Bryan (I am using this as a test post) --- How come you are advertising Grand Bank's tournament, if Grand Banks is the sister casino to the Not Recommended Black Widow?

Just curious? Isn't it true that both casinos use the same support center to process thier payouts?
