    Hi Bryan,

Long time no chat. Hope all is well. Just wondering if you or anyone else can answer this for me. God willing I win a tournament or something.

    Thanks!

    Hi Paul,

I honestly don't know since this is a relatively new thing (online poker) and I don't live in NY or NV. There is some info here that might help:

I would guess "no, it's not illegal". Online poker is advertised in some states on television, etc., so that should tell you something.

    Hey Bryan,

That is an excellent point about online poker being advertised. I would imagine it's ok being that they do advertise on tv in NY. I dont know about Nevada, however.

From what I have read, it does seem like a bit of a "gray" area as to whether it's legal in the U.S. Thanks for your help.

    Regards,
    Paul

I'm pretty sure it's illegal in Nevada, since Nevada did pass a law legalizing online gambling should it ever be made unillegal at the Federal level.
