I found the owner tring to sell this casino thru Offshore Classified. I have filed a dispute as you sugessted. Is there any other advice you have for me. I appreciate the time and trouble you've went thru for me and for heaps others. Its hard to go up against anything when you dont know the rules. Aikido, is this site related to eworldwidecasino.com which uses Mercedes software? Did the person trying to sell the site disclose his or her name and contact details?

There was quite a lot of adverse traffic on this operation earlier this year/late last year.

This is getting really interesting, because we had info from several sources that the man behind eworldwidecasino/eworldwidesports was one Larry (note the name) Thom.

Many players were interested in locating Larry because he did a runner from RTG-powered The Casino Online.com leaving players unpaid and RTG eventually picked up half of the tab.

Randy somebody or other, the manager at eworldwidesports got quite uptight when pressed on the Larry issue and vowed that he had nothing to do with them. It appears something of a coincidence is building here.

There may be hope yet if they are in Costa Rica because that country is starting to tighten up on its gambling organisations and license payments and may be interested enough to help you.

I'm afraid you'll have to do some research - I don't have any addresses for the Costa Rican licensing authorities.

This Larry Shendor has a partner his name is Rick Ovarick. Also Mr Shendor has a court case in Vahalla New York. His x had him arreseted I think but he was in jail there a short time ago. Randy told me he was dupted like the rest of us. But yet I seee that this Larry guys address now is in Costa Rica; wonder whos running the sale for him or hes actually there. I tried to contact some Costa Rican members of the OSGA with no luck. But I will try again. There are alot of people looking for this character includeing his X. Randy the x manager did have dealings with this guy I do believe I can find a e-mail or too that ties them together. Matter of fact hes the 1 that told me was in jail. Interestings hes denying it now. I will try to contact Costa Rica people tommorow ; sorry about not doing it today. Under the weather a bit; or not enuff beer. LMAO I just reread a couple of e-mails from Randy and heimplies that Rick Ovirick is the real owner and had every intention of letting Shendor take the heat. " I am still dealing with the other owner (Ovirick) but he seems tobe attempting to wash his hands of it as he can lay blame to the one thats in jail. (Shendor)" Interesting. I may not get my money back; but it seems some people are sweating out there. Glad I saved a few e-mails

Good on you, aikido. It is great to see a tenacious player who doesn't just write off these rip-offs. These crooks hate the spotlight, and the thought that people are on their trail.

I am deeply suspicious of "Randy" too - you don't manage an operation without having a pretty good idea of what is going on or how near the precipice the business is.

I would be grateful if you would keep us posted here on any other information you dig up, especially on Larry - there are still a whole bunch of people who want to talk to him (or the *Thom* version!) about their money.

I think your right about Randy; he denies too much and I just wonder whos handeling the sale in Costa Rica. The link on the classified went to Shendors wife. She claims tobe divorceing him but I wonder about that too. Its a shame that there people put there like him; especially when the US gov. wants to close down computer gambeling.
I will relay any info I hear or dig up. I have some other players that send me info from time to time too.
I may not get my money back but at least we'll make the aaaaa well you know; sweat abit!!

Without really expecting a reply I responded to the Costa Rican advert asking about the aggrieved players.

Predictably I have not received a response - dealing with awkward questions like that is clearly not interesting to Larry!
