    online gambling in different states.

hi i wanted to ask where the link might be explaing the online gambling states that are not allowed to gamble online.
wasnt there a list of about 8 or 9 states that was prohibited? such as louisiana, and ????? my sister lives in the state of louisiana and i told her i believe she was unable to gamble online. although casinos are offered to people world wide, if the state is banned then whats the use if you have to send in proof of residency ( and your state is not allowed) then winnings would be forfeited. am i wrong in assuming this info is correct?
    thanks for any info.

    Lightbulb

I have noticed that Louisiana is on the list of Excluded States at some not all Casinos I have played and Casino City seems to have list of the excluded States. If you are allowed to register at a Casino that allows Louisiana you should get paid winnings. If Louisiana excluded and somehow allowed to Register not sure what would happen

Seems to me best thing is to contact the casino before playing and get their response in writing/email.

@ footdr thanks for the info. hubby wants to buy land in louisiana in 9 years and possible build a house. i would live next to my sister. and i thought if i cant gamble for a past time im sure ill be bored out of my mind. lol i doubt a accredited casino will even let me register a account if im in a state that is banned for online gambling. i did ask a accredited casino about this situation and was told that it would be up to me ( the player) in knowing what the legal terms are for the state im living in. but that didnt tell me if i would be able to register or if any winnings would be void . but maybe all online gambling will be legalised in 9 years and the status will be changed for the better. thanks again.

I am not sure if gambling will be better when it is legalized in the states. But I am pretty sure that way before 9 years we will see gambling on line being legal and regulated to the hilt!!
