Hey Bryan, I was just curious if there is an option to view the forum as it was before it changed?
Haven't been here for awhile and I just can't seem to get the hang of this new layout. I much prefer to view the forum the old way.
Also, is there something I can edit so that when I read a thread/post it disappears until someone posts in that thread again?
Right now I have threads/post showing on my screen from back in 2002.
If this question was asked already I apologize because I can't make heads or tails navigating around here anymore

Don't know if it is what you are looking for, but when I log into the forum I click Today's Posts. There are all the new posts on all new forums since the last time I visited the forum.

On the new design, I felt real uncomfortable with it the first few days, now I can't even remember how the old one looked, hehe.

go to your settings tab, top right of the page...scroll all the way down to the bottom and you can change to "classic gold"

or, just scroll all the way down to the bottom of any page and you can change the style there as well.

I think the What's New button is pretty good for giving you all the posts you haven't read, not just today's posts. As you read posts or threads they disappear when you click What's New again.

Thanks all - yes, you can either view "Today's Posts" which displays posts posted today whether you have read them or not. Or you have the "What's New" tab which displays only the new posts you haven't read read.

As for the old forum, that was vB version 3.8. We put off upgrading to vB 4.x for over a year because many of the plugins weren't modifyed yet, but we finally upgraded a couple of months ago. It's been a pain, and the navigation is different, but there isn't much we can do about it but get used to the change

There are quite a few more bells and whistles, some of which I haven't implemented yet.

Thanks I am viewing in classic gold but it doesn't give the option that Im looking for. I will try all the suggestions received here

I'm waiting for an updated "plugin" for that. We need one that is compatible with the 4.x version of vBulletin. I don't know when that will be.

Hey Bryan In the meantime have a drawing each month for members that post in that month.
This would be a cool idea to have until you get that other thing going.
