Meister,

With all of the turmoil in payments and delays and EWX....etc. That is going on now plus the lack of licensing restrictions for RTG casinos it got me wondering:

Do you have a prediction or educated guess to share as to if RTG will remain a viable option for players? Or do you see them going in the tank completely and even reputable RTG outfits (if even in existence) changing software or some such thing?
I guess I am basically asking what you see as the future for RTG casinos?

Those guys have been survivors, if not very professional ones in comparison to other veteran industry companies, since their heyday back in Atlanta.

I'd say they're going to be around for awhile yet, and I wouldn't hold my breath expecting too much in the way of improvements to the manner in which they carry on business.

I guess you could change RTG to US facing casinos.

They all face the same challenges with payment processing which seems to be the key factor in successing.

For RTG as a whole (both software provider and casinos) they are now paying for their decision to mainly focus on the US market.

I know that RTG will remain viable as a software provider, but with any company that is choosing to entertain US based players, there will always be risks. The market has always been unpredictable and dynamic; I would guess that the larger companies will maintain their foothold while the smaller ones either close shop or sell.

There are of course markets other than the US that are way less problematic. Casinos may shift focus and go that route.

Bottom line is that players need to understand the risks. If you are a US based player, there will always be issues concerning transfers of funds. It's been this way for some time now.

Hum, so you think they would be doing better if they were focused on, say, the market in , say, Finland:what:
