    Add to reputation?

    Hi.
I didnt notice until today that there is a add to reputation symbol on top of each thread/reply.

    So how does that work?

I tried to add reputation to a couple of members that had some very helpful replies to my questions, but I only received a pop up saying: "you cant add repution to same post twice"

Is pushing the thanks button the same as adding reputation on the scale button?

You have two ways to add to reputation. You can hit the thanks button or hit the little justice button on your right.
Give a fool his space....don't want to get caught up in their drama

Here is the info you are looking for WonderingSpirit HERE

Now the thing about the "Thanks Button" is that it will add 5 points to the posters Reputation that you thank, whereas if you use the "Balance Scales" it will add over 100 points + or - depending on your level I believe and you cannot use both for the same post.

You also cannot use the "Balance Scales" to add or take away points from someones Reputation either in the same 24 hour period that you have already given out to much previous Rep or "Thanks" in the same day.
