    Question credit card info

Before finding the Meister, I deposited at some of the rogue casinos. Now after reading about various problems with credit cards at some sites, can someone tell me for sure,, How do I get my credit card info off those sites? I realize, I can probably go to these sites, and read 'how to's', but I wanted to ask people with more experience than I have, if there is anything 'special' I need to do to be sure the info gets removed, so I don't get $crewed by some bad people. I'm old, poor, on a fixed income, and not very computer savy, so I want to be sure nobody can get their hands on my $1.95 Thanks for any help ps:Thanks to the Meister, and to all who contribute the helpful info I've found here. I've really learned a lot of good stuff!

If you have gave your cc info to rogue. You can't get your cc details back. Only thing what you can do is to contact your bank and ask them to close your current card.

I am not sure, but i think that even most casinos from the rogue list don't steal money from players credit cards.

This is just my opinion, ! I did't see where you did post this

Way back when.......I had an unauthorized charge on my card that I'm 99% sure did come from a rogue and I'm pretty sure that it has happened to others on here also.

As someone else suggested.....I'd just cancel that card and get a new one.

Exclamation ASK TO TAKE THEM OFF YOUR ACCOUNT BUT......

eventhough they are no longer listed under deposit methods, credit cards on casino banking(deposit) page. They are always still stored by the casino.

I know this because I had a card removed and one year later went to re-register it and I got an error message "this card already registered". Eventhough it was not listed in the "drop down list of credit cards" on the banking page.

Also, I asked webwallets to delete my information but I guarantee they have not.

Actually you could threaten legal action because visa and mastercard rules do not allow merchants to store your credit card data; and in a case where you have registered your card, their rules state that the info should be deleted upon customers revocation of the card as a recurrring method of payment.

You might advise the casino of that fact. google Merchant rules, visa and/or Mastercard for details

Thankfully I have never been ripped off, but I stick with accredited casinos.

I even worry about amazon.com storing my info. Everytime I buy something there its easy but thats because they store my info.

Its scary. My bank lets my casino deposits go through but charges me international deposit fee's, usually 50c or $1. But anything purchased online with my debit card is put on hold for a day or two so I can say WHOA if its wrong.

I like the way its working, and I don't want to alert them if I am charged wrong ( I really watch quicktender) so they won't start asking questions about all the $24.99 international debits 3 times a week. Or the $49.99 bed charge that occurs occasionally.

I guess I have been lucky but I do not keep a large balance that I would realyy miss if it got whacked.

QT has been charging me 49.99 for BED for several weeks now, lol.

    heres a sample:
    08/01/2008 bed $50.00

That one happened to be the full amount, guess they didnt want to give me the penny.

It is a real drag, but the safest thing you can do is report the card lost and get it reissued. I know it's a major pain, but you will sleep better!

When I first found CM I DID have a rougue submit unauthorized charges on my debit card! (I knew for a fact I did not make those charges as I had reversed a cashout and was playing with that) I immediately informed my bank of the unauthorized charges and also blocked them from ever being able to submit another charge. So It has indeed happened to players.

Best bet here IMO ... have a new card issued with the old one frozen.

Buy a prepaid reloadable debit card for online play.

    And good luck!!
