question about those free 15 minutes...

Hi,
I keep getting emails to try 15 minutes of "free spins" and you keep your winnings. They are all casinos I've tried in the past so I'm not eligible. Has anyone done this? Has anyone actually won? The only time I tried it, the games took like 5 min. to load and I had almost no time to play (and then promptly lost!). Thanks for reading.

Hi nanwishing.. I have participated in one of those.. and the casino I played at I did win above the amount. But to withdraw the winnings they wanted a deposit.

So, It is true, you can keep your winnings but you need to deposit to get them in some cases.
Different casino's may have different terms.

I would try contacting the casino by phone or live chat. Most often, if it is a casino you already play at, you have been "spammed" by an over-eager or unscrupulous affiliate. If it is a reputable casino, they usually want to know who sent it, so they can reprimand them. If nothing else, perhaps they will see that you are removed from that particular mailing list. And then again, maybe not. I've got the "No, you've already used that promotion" and "we are not responsible for what other people send you" and "sorry for the duplicate offer" responses. But at least you save yourself the time and effort of playing a bonus that will just end up with your winnings denied.

Also, if it is an offer you can play, please read all the T&C's carefully. Most of these free play have min/max cashouts, so if that is the case, do not play anything with a big jackpot.

This is not always the case.. granted.. often there are spammy affiliates that do this, but would like to stand up for those that don't.

You see, I have a site where people can also sign up for the newsletter and this could be a player that signs up at multiple sites. There is no way for me to know which casino you have played at before, so it could happen that you get an offer from me for a casino where you have played at.

This does not constitute as spam or unscrupulous as the player did sign up for newsletters at my site.

Again - I know that there are a number of spam emails around.. but wanted to clarify how this could happen, before there is a sudden surge of complaints about receiving emails.

Make sure you check where you got the email from and if you know the site, then it is not spam.
