I value your opinion a great deal concerning on-line casino play and dealing with them on all issues. I've tried to follow your advice when deciding to play at an unfamiliar casino or in dealing with casino management on player issues.

Many times I've seen a casino I'd like to try that is not on either of your lists. I've played at over 100 online casinos, so I know some things to look for on my own, but it's always a huge risk. Isn't there some way to list all online casinos in existance (with neither positive or negative spin) and keep a score sheet as to complaints and kudos from members of Casinomeister?

This leads to other questions. Other than the criteria you have already layed out on this site, how do you choose which new or unknown casinos to investigate for future reference when no track record exists?

One more question - do you see any improvement concerning US player's chances of getting our choice back of whether to participate in online gaming wherever we want and on any games we choose? I've already considered moving to Canada or the UK and it just won't work - lol.

good questions. i sometimes wonder this myself. it seems our casinos are so limited since i live in the u.s. im afraid to play if they are not on the list. seems the list dont offer to much choices. i myself like the rtg games better.and dont want to try out a casino thats not listed. but i have long periods of not winning and wonder maybe i shoud try a different casino but to scared to do it because if i hit I WILL WANT MY MONEY

Actually, this would be a monumental task since casinos change constantly (new ownership, software provider, mergings, management, name changes, etc.), and there are new ones and ones going out of business each and every month. And then the complaints would have to be weeded out thoroughly - knowing which ones were legit or bogus would make a big difference. And then it becomes tricky. xyz casino may have a player base of 500,000 players and generates 20 complaints. 123casino has a player base of 500 players and generates 10 complaints. Which is the better casino?

I would need to hire a full-timer for something like this. Nevertheless, it's a good idea.

Actually, they usually come to me since I am normally too busy to seek them. I have a few that are on the backburner, waiting to come on. It's a matter of effective multi-tasking.

It's a definate plus when the casino is a publicly traded company and it's licensed in a "white listed " country in the EU. Most of the due diligence has been done. From there, it's a matter of having a very responsive management team.

Yes, it's coming. The current laws that have screwed up the landscape for US players is actually laying down the foundation for regulation. (Make sure you keep up with the current news items that are posted both here in the forum and in the news section.)

But this is long term. I'm pretty much certain that online poker will be 100% legal for players in some states within the next couple of years. And this would begin the domino effect - casino games coming in the next 5-7.

As you are well aware, anything to do with gambling is heavily politicalized wherever you go. You have an election year coming up, and one way for a politician to deliver a death blow to his/her own campaign is to state that they support online gambling. This is one problem US players are facing at the moment. Their politicians are reluctant to commit - unless everyone else is.

Let us not forget that the Federal laws target illegal gambling. There is room for intrastate gambling to include horse/dog racing. It's just that the DoJ can't wrap their heads around this. They believe all online gaming is illegal. And the States have not gotten this together yet. The laws are there to make it happen theoretically - it's just that the infrastructure is not there yet.
