    First french/Time here !

    Hello !
Thanks for your site/institution. I mean, you and The Wizard gave me definitively back in online gambling.

    I have two questions.

1-What is a software provider. Of course, somebody who provides online casinos some probability software to determine the numbers going up.
BUT, is it possible to trick on demand such software as playtech or microgaming ? For example : in a Sci-Fi scenario in which somebody begins to win big time, is it possible to determine some unlucky sequence? In other words, is that possible to modify the sequence generated by the software, or to have an influence on it in any way ? You would give me a fierce favor by answering this issue, however naive it could seem.

2-What are the gambler's rights ? I mean , does a casino need some proofs or justification to give you the boot ? I don' t talk about these crappy casinos or gambler, real bonus frauding or so-called by a casino just because you could cash out. In other words, if i don' t fraud, and win nevertheless , can a casino manager ban me without argument, excuse or compensation ? Thank you for answering.

    (Please excuse my lousy english)

Welcome to the forum - don't worry about your English - about 40 percent of the traffic speaks English as a second language - some don't speak it at all.

Now let me try and answer your questions.

    1. Software providers - I would say it's safe to say that the top software providers are under enough scrutiny not to attempt cheating or allowing anyone having the influence of the games. Wagerlogic, Playtech, Microgaming, Wagerworks all are used by very high profile organizations (William Hill, Ladbrokes, Virgin, etc.,) that would be financially devastated if they were caught screwing with the software. They have enough ex-employees to blow the whistle on any fraud or scandalous activities. Unknown software used by unlicensed "casinos" should be avoided.

    2. Player's rights. Hmm. You really don't have any. Maybe if you are in the UK, you have some rights (Brits can correct me on this) especially after the current pending legislation takes effect. For right now, everyone is on their own. You have to rely on sites like this to try and keep things straight.

It's a relationship that everyone can benefit from - player and casino operator. Players come here, gather information, play at xyz casino. Casino is good - they let everyone know. Casino is bad - they let everyone know. The casinos monitor this site and find out where they are making mistakes, and they see in what areas they do well. It's self regulation. And that's how this industry works. It's always been this way.
