While watching the World Cup, I have not spotted any of the familiar "888.com" signs that I usually notice in European stadiums. Maybe FIFA isn't allowing gambling ads?

Only World Cup sponsors can advertise. Stadia that have sponsorship deals with companies had to cover up the sponsor's name and had to find an alternative name for the duration of the World Cup, e.g., City X Stadium instead of Company Y Stadium.
