Hmmm...a question about Club Player Casino

I considered playing at Club Player and registered and redeemed their free $25 dollar chip. Not wanting to waste my time with another free chip promo such as the one I experienced with Cirrus, which took 3 months to get paid, I thought I would research the Forums here first, to see what the story is on this Casino. Well, I was very impressed on how quickly I could get informed by doing a search for "club player". ( side-note: you need a way to combine words in a search ) From what I read from the various poster experiences with this Casino, I don't want to touch it, even with a free chip. Not long after registering, I received a Phish-mail trying to get confidential account infomation that was addressed to my Casino email. I have no proof it was them, but there seems to be some evidence that they have tried to sell player databases in the past. This is the first time I have ever received any trash like this in my Casino email address; its only given to Casinos. Somebody sold me out.

Oh well, my question is, (or maybe suggestion) why isn't this Casino in the warnings or not recommended list in the 'Evil Section' ?? Do they have any redeeming characteristics that I might be unaware of ? ; I could find none in the Forums.

Hi Random and welcome to the forum!

I think you have already found all the "redeeming characteristics" that forum members have offered about Club Player. It's sort of like head lice -- common knowledge that it's a drag and to be avoided at all costs.

Thanks for replying Suzecat. Be sure I'll heed the warning. I still don't know why Bryan hasn't put this in with Cirrus in the evil section. I suppose that if he put all that are worthy of that rating in the 'Evil section' it would take up too much memory on the Server.

These Costa Rica Casinos! What a mess down there. And now Bodog! As I understand it, their Government passed some kind of Law about any new Casinos being established down there, but the current ones can remain in operation. (I may be misinformed, I'm not sure) Now it sounds like even the Government can't take it anymore.
