One good way is to pose the question in public (here), and see who chimes in. If some dweeb or shill gives misguided advice, he will be busted out by most of the regular members who are pretty sharp. There are enough smart posters getting involved with most discussions. If someone feels that another poster's advice is out in left field, they will normally jump in and speak their piece. Then it's up to you to decide

Cute name, Poker Pammie. Regarding that room specifically, I know their sportsbook is highly regarded, fwiw. I have never played there personally. But there is a site called Sportsbook Review and I know there is a link to them somewhere here at Casinomeister. Anyway, I know they give VIP an A rating.
