So I learned, via this board, that promoting these casinos was NOT a good idea. I was really upset, since I run a no-download and Mac-oriented portal (http://www.applecasinos.com), and these are some of the only casinos that work on a Mac. I asked about the information posted on CasinoMeister (about these casinos being rigged) on the casinos' affiliate board. Here was the response (I quoted the CasinoMeister text exactly):
---- Out of all the bad stories I have heard about the casinos, this is the only true story that ever happened to our software. Indeed our supplier of the sourcecodes has misprogrammed the software originally, and ex-manager had the OPA review the casino before the bugs were fixed. Actually, the supplier's programmers were working on fixing the bugs at the time the tester was playing the game. We had bad manager and bad supplier. That's why we have decided to develope the software ourselves, hired our own programmers, and changed casino manager. I can say with high degree of certainty that our game algorythms are bug-free now. On some of our casinos you can see links to "Live Payouts" where you can see real-time averages of game odds. e.g. www.GemLobby.com. I can assure you that all of our casinos are offering fair gaming, we are never late with withdrawals, and our affiliates receive payments on time. You can play the games if you wish and see how we care about our players. And since you are an affiliate with us, you know we take care of affiliates too. We take this business very seriously and would never allow such things happen in the future. ------ Thoughts? |

These >,a href="http://0-2u.com?go=casinos"<,casinos>,/a<, use Oyster Software which is the worst software out there, the player can never win, IT IS RIGGED.

Um, right, well, I know this was a problem in the PAST, but the program manager claims it has been fixed (as per my post above). I was wondering if their software has been retested since the incident mentioned on this site, which was two years ago, right?

These terms are ripe for abuse as well:
The casino reserves the right to review transaction records and logs from time to time, for any reason whatsoever. If, upon such review, it appears that player/s are participating in strategies that the casino in its sole discretion deems to be abusive, the casino reserves the right to revoke the entitlement of such player to the promotion. |

Hi Mary,
In your opinion, which casinos do you consider to have been honorable from the onset? I would love to play at these sites. You are always honest and I agree with your Never Forgive policy. Thanks for any help you can provide. ***hugs**** Linda |

Sulkygirl - you have a real bad taste in casinos.
Oyster Gaming (Netgaming, Lazy Joker, Mad Bonus) are about as bad as it gets and I think you should stop supporting them ASAP. The response from the Oyster-manager is a flat out lie. Would you expect anything else? Would a crook that make a living of ripping off people admit being a thief? There have been countless complaints on Oyster Gaming (Netgaming family/former Elka Software/Avestadesign)- do a search on this board or Winneronline. There's a recent complaint here: http://mb.winneronline.com/showthrea...ghlight=oyster Why do you think they keep changing the name of the software and opening new casinos? A while back I was in contact with Geoff Hall - the inventor of Blackjack Switch (http://www.blackjackswitch.com) - the game that Oyster Gaming offer in an unlicensed version. They STOLE the patented game from the inventor. If Geoff Hall don't pursue the matter it's because it would be a waste of time since the owners of Qyster Gaming are broke and couldn't pay the royalties even if they wanted to. Blackjack Switch used to be part of the picklist under "Card Games" - they removed it, but when you select another card game and scroll you can still select Blackjack Switch. I just took this screenshot ![]() Ask your buddy how come they offer Blackjack Switch. (Message edited by jyde on November 18, 2003) |

Jyde, I appreciate the input but don't know why you have to bring attitude (I have "bad taste" and I should "ask my buddy"?!) I'm trying to do the right thing and gather all the information I can. This is how I make a living, so I obviously don't want to be promoting crooked casinos (and will undoubtedly be taking down the ads soon). But on the other hand, THIS IS HOW I MAKE MY LIVING, you know? I'm trying to pay my rent, like everyone else. I'm not trying to cheat anyone, I'm just trying to get info. It obviously sucks for me that casinos that convert well are apparently crooked, but I guess that's the breaks. Thanks for the links, anyway. I have enough other casinos at this point that I can probably stop promoting them.

I'm sorry if I was a bit rude and i agree the "buddy" comment wasn't appropriate.
It's just that these people have been screwing players for so many years - and they keep popping up under new software name and with new casinos. They really piss me off. The other casinos on your site are OK - allthough Winward seem to have some kind of history - I don't quite remember though. How about the Microgaming Flash casinos - don't they run on Mac? Slotland - they're quite popular too? You should also try the no download from casinoonnet.com - perhaps it will work. Perhaps other can add suggestions for Mac compatible casinos? |
