It would truly depend on what AUDIENCE you were buying from - how it would be targeted - and what demographics you were looking for.

For some businesses YES - targeted traffic is decent.

For some businesses - a total waste of money.

    It really depends.

How many of those targeted people will convert into whatever you're looking for?

I would take a long hard look at the group you are considering using... I would look at their customers - and I would see if any were gambling places similar to yours - and then see if they were REPEAT customers of the traffic business.

It could be a total flop or it could be a total winner for you.

Advertising is ALWAYS a chancy thing.
For one thing - you may not get an immediate reaction or conversion - but YOU might get repeat visitors who one day may TURN into conversions.

Before you consider paying for traffic - make sure your site is PERFECT - that you have everything in order - all your links perfect - and ALL OF YOUR FACTS right.

Check lots of other sites out - and make yourself better than them.

And make sure you don't have ANYTHING that will annoy the visitors ( no pop ups - no auto play audio - no flashing nasty stuff)

Go for it - if you have the extra bucks - but DO NOT EXPECT miracles.

If you think they have the traffic that will convert to readers or conversions for you - then - hell - why not.

    But don't expect too much.

Well if it's any benefit - I'm considering using Google adwords...

But I dunno how well it has done for others.

I need to start making money as well - so good luck to you - and let me know how it goes.

It's crap. So please don't get suckered into it.

When I first started out I bought a heap of it. But after trying about 3 places I soon realised I'd been had

Truth is this stuff is generated bot traffic. Least the stuff I was sent was.

Think about this...If the traffic is so good why sell it. They'd make more money sending that traffic to their own niche site.
    But instead they're selling it

Unfortunately there isn't really any get rich quick plans when your setting up a casino/gambling portal. Hard work is however the key to making a decent income. That and making your site stand out from the crowd.

Do that and your well on the way to being a piece of gold and not just a stone in quarry.

    Cheers

    Dave

I've never bought traffic, so I can't tell you it's not the best thing to do first-hand. The best way to get traffic is via building a unique site and focus on viral marketing. My 2 cents.

Some PPC traffic works some of the time.

Bulk traffic where you buy hundreds of visitors is ALWAYS crap. They are either not real people but bots, or sweatshops where people are hired for pennies in some unfortunate country and sit and click all day. Nowadays it's mostly bots.

PPC traffic depends on the outfit you buy through, and your skill in bidding the right amount for the right keywords. PPC advertising is a skill.
