With English and Scottish Football Association MoU's
William Hill has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Scottish Football Association in what was described as a "landmark" agreement and follows a similar initiative with the English Football Association.
The two separate MoU's cover all professional football events and associated governing bodies within England and Scotland, and within the jurisdiction of both FA's and will see William Hill exchange information with both bodies regarding suspected betting irregularities.
Bill South, director of security and community affairs at William Hill said: "William Hill is the biggest bookmaker in Britain and it's important for us to take a leadership role in the protection of the integrity of our national sport.
"These two MoU's will help safeguard the integrity of football in both England and Scotland, and we are firmly committed to working closely with both FA's to ensure our beautiful game isn't sullied."
In related news, William Hill clinched a two-year official European Betting Partner deal with English Premier League football club Everton FC.
The deal, said to be the Club's "highest ever value betting partner deal", will see William Hill use Everton's platforms to connect with Blues fans in the UK and across Europe, with its name set to appear on the Club's LED screens and interview backdrops as well as providing an improved concourse betting experience for fans at Goodison Park.
