Affiliates notified of closure from February 28, 2018 after almost a decade of operation
William Hill Group-owned and Playtech-powered 21Nova Casino is reportedly closing its virtual doors on February 28th ending almost a decade of operation.
The email sent to affiliates Tuesday indicate that, as of February 28, customers will only be able to log in and withdraw funds. Betting and deposits will no longer be accepted.
The email also detailed the removal of “a few bonuses from our EuroGrand and Casino Club products very soon” particularly referring to payment method and refer a friend bonuses on both brands, and the Monthly Loyalty Bonus for Casino Club.
“While its [21Nova] closure is a shame, we’ll be using this opportunity to focus on making EuroGrand and Casino Club better than ever, as well as the gaming products on our main site: Casino, Vegas, Games and Live Casino,” the notification reads.
The news comes on the back of William Hill Group receiving a hefty penalty from the UK Gambling Commission for anti-money laundering and social responsibility failings (see previous InfoPowa report).
