Two sites shuttered and problem software updates?
Events over the weekend have left both industry observers and players at the Equity Poker Network wondering what's going on following reports that flagship site Full Flush Poker and another site on the network branded Heritage sports and poker appear to have closed, with support reps explaining that a more than 72-hour shutdown of the network was due to software update problems.
Adding to speculation that the sites are out of business is the news that the Full Flush Poker.com domain is being offered for sale at $1,500, according to Domaintools.com and Afternic.com.
Full Flush's .eu domain is also not functioning, although the site is still hosted in Curacao, where its licence remains in force.
Curacao has as usual not responded to requests for clarification on the matter.
Doing most of the sleuthing on these mysterious happenings over the weekend was respected poker industry observer and writer John Mehaffey of Safest Poker Sites.com.
Mehaffey reports that there have been no statements or notifications from Full Flush explaining its position, despite player complaints to its Twitter account, which has been inactive since September 27. The company's Facebook page is similarly bereft of an explanation.
Attempts to access the Full Flush .com and .eu websites via Google also met with failure, and a 404 notification that the url was not found on the server.
Ominously, there have reportedly been player complaints about slow-pays in recent times, with allegations that check and e-wallet withdrawal requests have been pending for as long as a year.
Whilst the site's support responded on Saturday morning, by Saturday evening that, too had gone dark, with calls routed to an automated system which placed callers on indefinite hold.
The Heritage Sports site went offline Friday, coinciding with the network going down, and no longer connects to a server. Mehaffey reports that the poker page on the site has been removed, along with the header link.
