W.s.o.p. And 888poker To Share Player Pools In New Jersey

More liquidity makes for bigger prizes

Caesars Interactive Entertainment has announced that from next week the WSOP.com and 888Poker.com online poker sites will share a common player pool, which should see better rewards for players.

A Caesars spokesman told the Associated Press news agency that the player sharing initiative is designed to increase player liquidity, a key area if New Jersey's year-old Internet gambling market is to improve.

The spokesman said that the move will increase prize guarantees for tournaments, and lead to a greater number of players available for cash games.

The sites will begin sharing $130,000 in guaranteed tournaments each week starting Monday.
