Us$44.35 Million Online Gambling Ring Busted In Vietnam

Singaporean ring leader arrested

Ho Chi Minh City police report breaking up an extensive Vietnamese online gambling ring that generated over US$44.35 million in bets from local punters.
The raiding party arrested a Singapore citizen, Wong Boon Leong (35) whom they believe is the ring-leader, along with three other persons, all Vietnamese.
Documentary and other evidence was seized at the site of the raid, a house in the Binh Thanh District occupied by Leong, who is alleged to have entered Vietnam in 2013 and organised the ring.
