Thai Royal Police To Closely Monitor Online Gambling

Strict control over online gambling

Thai Royal Police have launched the World Cup 2014 Gambling Prevention and Suppression Centre (GPSC) in anticipation of the tournament's kick-off later this week.

The Centre will closely monitor online gambling, Deputy National Police Chief, Pol. Gen. Aek Angsananont said, while implementing strict measures covered by the Anti-Money Laundering Act against those indulging in gambling on the tournament.

The GPSC will operate from June 12 to July 13, 2014.
