Twenty arrested for football betting

Thai authorities are the latest to effect arrests on illegal online gambling following a raid in Pattaya.
Twenty people were arrested for allegedly betting on foreign football matches with Police seizing three computers, a printer, betting slips and THB 75,000 in cash.
According to the Bangkok Post, the raid was led by Pol Col Apichai Kropphet, superintendent of Pattaya police, Monday morning.
News of the raid follows others in widespread action across the Asian region.
