Finland’s Paf which operates an online gaming site offering casino games, bingo, poker and sports betting, also providing gambling services on board cruise ships which operate in the Baltic and North Seas, have acquired the Swedish licensed Mandalorian Technologies. Mandalorian Technologies own and operate the sites No Account Casino, No Account Bet and Prank Casino.
As a result of the acquisition by Paf, they now assert that they will become one of the top ten iGaming operators in Sweden.
Commenting on the acquisition, Paf’s Chief Executive Officer, Christer Fahlstedt, said: “We have been following Mandalorian Technologies closely for almost a year and we are impressed by the company. This is a company that did not exist two years ago and their journey has been fantastic.”
“The acquisition of Mandalorian Technologies is a clear signal of Paf’s long-term ambition to be a leader in the Swedish licensed market.” Since September 2019, Mandalorian Technologies has implemented Paf’s policies for AML and responsible gaming.
Of which Fahlstedt further commented: “That has been a crucial test for us, to see if they can successfully compete in a tightly regulated market and at the same time stay at the forefront when it comes to responsibility,” says Christer Fahlstedt.”
“We are very impressed by the team and we are convinced that Paf and Mandalorian Technologies have a lot to learn from each other and we will complement each other very well.”
Back in 2018 Mandalorian Technologies were hit by a SEK9m fine by the Swedish regulator, Spelinspektionen, as a result of breaching bonus regulations.
