Stakelogic acquires Serbian Software Developer

The iGaming developer and platform provider Stakelogic have further enhanced their business with the acquisition of the Serbian software developer Smart&Applied DOO, in a move that will strengthen the company’s in-house game development capacity.

As a result of the acquisition Smart&Applied DOO will be rebranded as Stakelogic Serbia and all personnel working for Smart&Applied DOO will be relocated to a new office complex in Belgrade later this year.

Smart&Applied was founded by Igor Marinkovic as a game development studio. The company has been working with Stakelogic for the past three years, making it the ideal acquisition target for the fast-growing slot developer.

Following the acquisition, Smart&Applied will be rebranded to Stakelogic Serbia with Marinkovic appointed as General Manager of the division. The company will also move into a new, state-of-the-art office in the centre of Belgrade later this year.

Stakelogic is responsible for some of the most popular online casino content in the market with its games now live across more than 500 operators around the world. Last year it released 48 classic slots and video slots, many of which can be found in the top position of casino game lobbies, including at the likes of Casinomeister accredited casinos Videoslots and Betsson.

The developer is ISO 27001 certified, and its games are certified in key markets including the UK, Malta and Romania.
