Sportech Delivers First Tech Phase For Betfred

Successful integration of Quantum System to be followed by digital and self-service technologies

Sportech Racing and Digital have completed the integration of its Quantum System into Betfred's Totepool business and will begin implementing further phases that include a G4 framework for online betting, Digital Link™ mobile and self-service betting terminals.
The integration of Sportech's Quantum™ System has allowed Betfred to simplify their betting systems, whilst also making Totepool products available for distribution to worldwide tote markets, Sportech said.
Ian Penrose, Chief Executive of Sportech, commenting on the progress, said: "It is fantastic to achieve this so soon into the rollout plan across the UK.
"To add UK Horseracing to our growing customer base in over 30 countries further enhances the investment made in the quality of our software and hardware."
"We are now excited to embark on the next phase of our strategic technical initiative with Sportech, the implementation of new digital and self-service technologies that will offer Totepool customers a significantly enhanced betting experience," Philip Siers, chief commercial officer of Betfred added.
