Significant Interest In U.k. Online Gambling Licensing

880 applications and counting according to Gambling Commission lists

With the September 16 application deadline looming, it appears that many well-known online gambling operators are opting for a UK licence under the new point-of-consumption licensing law.

A cursory look at the Gambling Commission list of applicants this week revealed that 880 applications (and counting) have been received, among them well known and respected websites, among them:

Aztech Riches

Blackjack Ballroom

Captain Cook

Casino-Action

Challenge Casino

Casino Share

Fantasy Football Exchange

Playnbrag

Skybet

Rich Reels

Betbutler domains appear to have been removed following that firm's suspension by the UK regulator (see previous InfoPowa report).
