Malta based Pragmatic Play continue to strive to increase their exposure on the growing South American market place with the announcement of a deal with the leading Peruvian operator Solbet. Solbet offer casino games and sports betting to their visitors and style themselves as a ‘Sports Betting and Online Games House.’
Operating out of Curacao, Solbet was part of the Sun International Group who operate casinos, hotels and leisure resorts throughout 35 locations in Latin America and Africa and were operated by their subsidiary the Sun Dreams Group. However, in the summer of 2020 Sun International sold Sun Dreams to the South American investment group for a consideration of $160m.
Regarded as one of the leading gaming sites in Peru, Solbet’s deal with Pragmatic Play will enable them to offer their whole portfolio of games to their customer base in Peru.
Under the agreement, Solbet customers will be able to access Pragmatic Play’s award-winning suite of slot content, including the fan-favourite Wolf Gold, recent hit Voodoo Magic, and the highly acclaimed John Hunter series.
Pragmatic Play has enjoyed significant growth in Latin America since the launch of its continental hub in 2020, with Solbet joining Cryptobet, Zamba and Bplay among many operators utilising the supplier’s multi-product offering.
Pragmatic Play’s VP of Latin America, Victor Arias, said: “We’re pleased to have partnered with Solbet and continue with the string of impressive commercial deals in Peru. As part of a major gaming corporation internationally, it’s a high-profile agreement in a very exciting territory and we look forward to a long and rewarding partnership.”
Juan Pablo Uribe, Chief Executive Officer at Solbet, said: “Pragmatic Play has a sterling reputation as a leading igaming provider, and we’re delighted to incorporate numerous verticals into our offering. With a smooth integration process and scope to scale up our agreement to include even more products, we can’t wait to see were this agreement takes us.”
