888Poker To Again Sponsor World Series Of Poker Europe

October 19 to November 10 scheduled for Rozvadov spectacular

The World Series of Poker, King’s Casino and 888Poker have announced that their ongoing sponsorship will extend to the upcoming WSOP Europe in Rozvadov, Czech Republic this year.

The event will be hosted at King’s Casino from October 19 – November 10, with prize guarantees of over Euro 20 million, and 888Poker will once again be running multi-step Satellite Tournaments with affordable buy-ins.

A $1,050 Satellite will run 2-3 times weekly, offering players the chance to win a $13,000 package to the $4,000,000 Main Event, running November 4-9. The package includes a €10,350 buy-in for the WSOP Europe Main Event, 5 nights’ accommodation in Rozvadov and $400 travel expenses.

“We are thrilled that our ongoing partnership with the WSOP has been extended to the hugely anticipated WSOPE Poker Festival in Rozvadov,” said Senior Vice President and Head of B2C at 888 Holdings, Itai Pazner.

“888poker works very hard to make big poker events like this accessible to all its players, giving them the chance to win big money and compete for a coveted bracelet,” he said. “I’m confident that the event will be a huge success, with King’s Casino delivering a professional, fun and unmissable live poker experience for all”.

Infopowa news was a staple of Casinomeister’s news from 2000 until 2019. Brian Cullingworth was the main writer, contributor, and was one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever known involved in the online casino industry.

We first met in January 2001 at the ICE in London where I observed him going booth to booth interviewing online casino, software, and licensing jurisdiction representatives. Brian was also heavily involved with our forum as “Jetset“, he was involved as an informal consultant to eCOGRA, the OPA, and was a player advocate who assisted countless aggrieved players with his connections to industry folks. He also published “Casino Cautions” via Infopowa news for quite a number of years. These can be found in our news archives.

His passing in February 2019 was a dark day for us. He will be forever missed.
