Playboy-gamblit Looking At Real-money E-sports?

Companies to work together on mobile skill-based games

California-based developer Gamblit Gaming and Playboy Enterprises have inked a partnership agreement through which the two companies will jointly make skill-based games for real-money wagering on mobile devices in what sounds like a move into the burgeoning e-Sports vertical.
With a target date of early 2016, the venture will focus on providing games for the UK mobile market and for US land operators interested in breaking into the relatively new sector.
Gamblit Gaming CEO Eric Meyerhofer in a statement: "Playboy is an incredible company with a rich history, both in casinos and arcades. Being able to create brand new skill-based gaming experiences that help us grow our audience of consumers with an iconic brand like Playboy is a dream come true."
Matt Nordby, Playboy Enterprises' president of global licensing, added: "We believe that consumers will be drawn to the powerful mobile and land-based skill gaming experiences that we create together."
