Parlay update shows online bingo network growth

10 sites on board; another 14 on the way

In a report on the progress of its Alderney-licensed European online bingo network Parlay Game Services reported this week that 10 sites are currently up and running on the product, with a further 14 being implemented.

The variety of brands ranges from established online gaming sites, such as Bingomania.co.uk and AstroBingo.co.uk, to retail and media companies in a number of different markets.

“PGS Europe represents the only network in the bingo and soft gaming sector to be truly multi-currency and multi-language, and we now have pooled liquidity with English, Swedish, Spanish and, soon, Finnish-speaking players,” said Scott White, CEO of Parlay. “Built on the most advanced commercial-grade bingo platform, Parlay5, the PGS Europe network is now the fastest growing network in the industry.

“The recent expansion in our business model – from a software development and licensing firm to an internationally-focused, turn-key, managed solutions provider – is gaining marketplace acceptance,” continued White. “Now companies have a viable option available to them for an international managed solution.”

Perry Malone, Parlay’s CTO said: “These customers – and the level of interest we are seeing from our existing customers and new prospects – validates the expansion of our business model into this value-added services offering.”

Parlay’s Alderney-based PGS offering became fully operational in the fourth quarter of 2009, offering remote gaming and RVB (registration, verification and banking) services. Built on the Parlay5 multi-language and multi-currency technology, PGS allows pooling of liquidity across currencies – something crucial to those operators who wish to expand into the rapidly growing global market.

Infopowa news was a staple of Casinomeister’s news from 2000 until 2019. Brian Cullingworth was the main writer, contributor, and was one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever known involved in the online casino industry.

We first met in January 2001 at the ICE in London where I observed him going booth to booth interviewing online casino, software, and licensing jurisdiction representatives. Brian was also heavily involved with our forum as “Jetset“, he was involved as an informal consultant to eCOGRA, the OPA, and was a player advocate who assisted countless aggrieved players with his connections to industry folks. He also published “Casino Cautions” via Infopowa news for quite a number of years. These can be found in our news archives.

His passing in February 2019 was a dark day for us. He will be forever missed.
