Play’n GO’s Gunslinger Gets A Revamp

Gunslinger: Reloaded brings new technologies into play in extensive revamp of an old but popular game

Fans of the original Gunslinger slot developed some years ago by Play’n GO should be more than pleased with the latest edition of this popular game following an extensive revamp using modern development technology and techniques.

The 5 reel, 25 pay-line game retains its Wild West theme, depicted more dramatically with sharp graphics, animation and sound effects.

In Gunslinger: Reloaded, the storyline follows the mysterious Gunslinger, a nomadic enforcer who roams the Wild West, chasing lawbreakers and collecting bounties on some of the nation’s most wanted criminals.

The graphics include stallions, Colt six-guns, wanted posters, gold and saloon ladies, backing a game that features wilds, scatters, free spins, bonuses and a jackpot.

Play’n GO has added three great bonus features to make gameplay more exciting and lucrative.

The most inventive of these is the “Bounty Hunt,” where players chase one of the game’s main villains through the streets of the town, before finally facing them down in an old-fashioned shoot-out.

Setting the game against such a well-known and popular backdrop meant particular detail had to be paid to the game’s design and its features, Play’n GO CEO Johan Törnqvist revealed in a launch statement this week:

“The Western genre is extremely popular and well-known all over the world so, when designing a game like this, you have to be very faithful to the conventions of the genre. Our producers made sure that the game captures the look and the feel of the Golden Age of Westerns, in both the main game and all of the added features, containing some of the most popular elements, to give players an immersive experience.”

Endorphina Launches New Luckystreak 1 Slot

First in a series of three fruit slots

Prague-based online gambling games developer Endorphina launched its latest slot Thursday, a 4-row, 5-reel, 40-line game titled Lucky Streak 1 and the first in an intended series of three fruit-themed slots.

The developer says the key to the series is easy, uncomplicated “old school” slot action with a traditional theme.

Endorphina has found that this sort of game is among the most favoured by its slots fans and the developer expects that this latest example will prove equally popular, enhanced as it is with colourful graphics and intricate animation.

Like most slots from this provider, the claimed RTP on the game is 96 percent. Endorphina spokesman Nikita Gorshkov described the new game as “…a good old-school vibe with a fiery twist.”

Infopowa news was a staple of Casinomeister’s news from 2000 until 2019. Brian Cullingworth was the main writer, contributor, and was one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever known involved in the online casino industry.

We first met in January 2001 at the ICE in London where I observed him going booth to booth interviewing online casino, software, and licensing jurisdiction representatives. Brian was also heavily involved with our forum as “Jetset“, he was involved as an informal consultant to eCOGRA, the OPA, and was a player advocate who assisted countless aggrieved players with his connections to industry folks. He also published “Casino Cautions” via Infopowa news for quite a number of years. These can be found in our news archives.

His passing in February 2019 was a dark day for us. He will be forever missed.
