Foxium’s latest offering introduces players to a truly animated magician

Following hard on the heels of its Astro Legends: Lyra and Erion slot (see previous InfoPowa report), games developer Foxium has released The Great Albini, a 5 reel, 25 or 50 pay-line game with a theme built around a fictitious world famous magician and his charming assistant Lily, both of whom appear in animated form among outstanding graphics.

Scheduled for full release on January 9, the game has a claimed RTP of 96.6 percent and features that include Mystery Box Respins and a Free Spins with Lily feature.

The Mystery Box Respin feature is activated when the Mystery Box symbol lands stacked on the central reel. Three Respins are awarded when all the Mystery Box symbols appear locked into place. If any more appear on the reels during the feature, they too will lock into place until the end of the round. Respins will be reset to 3 each time a Mystery Box symbol appears. The round ends when no more symbols appear, or the whole area is covered with Mystery Boxes. A random symbol, excluding the Free Spins and Wild symbols, will replace the Mystery Box icons on the screen, and the winning payout is calculated according to the line wins based on the symbol value. The feature pays out with the triggering bet.

During the Free Spins round, the grid changes to a 5×6 format and the pay lines increase to 50. Players are awarded 12 Free Spins when the Free Spins symbol lands on reels 2, 3, and 4. Other features in the Free Spins round include the Aztec Lady. The Lily character is the tall Wild that becomes sticky, granting players a Respin with an x2 multiplier. The Aztec Lady feature can be re-triggered during the free spins round. The Wild symbol can turn up on reels 2 to 5, replacing other symbols to create winning combinations. It cannot, however, replace the Aztec Lady, Free Spins, or Mystery Box icons.

The Bonus Box feature is a new feature in Foxium games through which players have an opportunity to immediaetly trigger 8, 10 or 12 Free Spins with the Aztec Lady feature. Once the Free Spin symbol lands on reels 2, 3, and 4 covering the whole reel, the feature starts in earnest. During the Free Spins winning payouts can be multiplied by x2, when the Aztec Lady feature is triggered. The Aztec Lady acts as a Wild symbol with X2 multiplier and can award Respins.
