Eighth Online Slot Released By NoLimitCity

Electric animations and an original theme on this 5 reel game

The end of March saw the launch of Swedish developer NoLimitCity‘s eighth online slot, an imaginatively themed 5 reel, 20 pay-line game titled Tesla Jolt.

The theme is based on the famous last-century Russian scientist Nikola Tesla, who had some revolutionary and ambitious ideas about the worldwide distribution of electricity which did not come to fruition but continue to stimulate scientific debate today.

NoLimitCity has presented the theme with very effective animation, setting the scene in the scientist’s laboratory with a violent electrical storm raging outside, and supporting a multi-featured game that offers opportunities for reward through Wilds, Free Spins, Scatters, Multipliers and a bonus Tesla Spins.

Tesla Jolt has been developed in HTML5 and is fully optimised for both desktop and mobile platforms, iOS, and Android. It comes with a brand new user interface, that is adapted for play on all mobile devices in both landscape and portrait.

Nolimit City is firing up more games along 2018, with a commitment of a steady roadmap of game titles to be delivered throughout the rest of the year.

Per Lindheimer, Product Owner at Nolimit City, said:

“Nikola Tesla is a fascinating historic figure and it’s been an absolute blast to create this visually stunning game inspired by this man. Working with lightning effects, exploding features and this type of setting makes a great starting point for any slot.”

New Diamond Empire Slot On The Way From Microgaming

April 18 date for latest release in collaboration with Triple Edge Studios

Microgaming‘s collaborative and exclusive partnership with independent developer Triple Edge Studios (see previous InfoPowa reports) continues this month with the April 18 release of Diamond Empire, a 3 reel, 15 pay-line slot with an art nouveau look and toe-tapping soundtrack.

The theme is pretty straightforward with some traditional symbols and plenty of the diamonds suggested in the title, but there are some noteworthy features, including stacked wild multipliers which double the win and a wheel of fortune bonus that can deliver 888x stake.

The game has a claimed RTP of 96.04 percent.

Yggdrasil Adds To Its Vikings Series Of Slots

Vikings Go To Hell has plenty of animation and some spectacular artwork

Online gambling games developer Yggdrasil has released pre-publicity on the third online slot in its Vikings series, a multi-featured and animated game titled Vikings Go To Hell which gives full rein to the imagination of its designers and follows Vikings Go Wild and Vikings Go Berzerk.

In the base game the now well established heroes in the series fight demon minions outside the gates of hell, entering the underworld on Free Spins to hunt down demonic overlords. Defeating the demon chieftain in the first Free Spins level takes the players to the final fight with the commander of the forces of darkness.

The artwork, graphics, sound effects and animation in the pre-publicity material is spectacular to say the least, and according to Yggdrasil Vikings Go To Hell is not merely a progression of previous related titles, but has a different profile, with higher variance and more opportunities for reward.

The 5 reel, 25 pay-line game is set for release on May 24 and has a claimed RTP of 96.1 percent.

Brian Cullingworth

Infopowa news was a staple of Casinomeister’s news from 2000 until 2019. Brian Cullingworth was the main writer, contributor, and was one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever known involved in the online casino industry.

We first met in January 2001 at the ICE in London where I observed him going booth to booth interviewing online casino, software, and licensing jurisdiction representatives. Brian was also heavily involved with our forum as “Jetset“, he was involved as an informal consultant to eCOGRA, the OPA, and was a player advocate who assisted countless aggrieved players with his connections to industry folks. He also published “Casino Cautions” via Infopowa news for quite a number of years. These can be found in our news archives.

His passing in February 2019 was a dark day for us. He will be forever missed.
