Disco Double Slot Launched By Isoftbet

Get into the groove with new HTML5 slot

Online and mobile casino content provider iSoftBet is inviting players to take to the dance floor and get into the groove with its latest game release, a 5 reel, 20 pay-line slot titled Disco Double.

The theme takes players back to sexy ‘seventies and the golden age of disco, where the Disco Double symbol is the star of the show, unlocking the game’s Free Spin Bonus round. The feature is triggered by three or more Disco Doubles landing on the reels, and offers players 10 free spins.

During free spins, there is a chance the Glitter Ball Multiplier will land on reel three, and will double the total current winnings. Players can also win a jackpot of 10,000 coins when five Wilds land.

Disco Double has been developed in iSoftBet’s Pulse framework, meaning the same game can be launched across desktop and mobile.

Michael Probert, head of business development at iSoftBet, said: “Disco Double is a bold and vibrant slot, offering players engaging gameplay. Under the hood, Disco Double is powered by smart math and fine-tuned mechanics, making it a fun and immersive slot to play.”

The game has a claimed RTP of 95.11 percent and can be viewed here:

Microgaming Debut Halloween Slot

Based on 1978 American independent slasher movie

Microgaming launched its much-anticipated Halloween slot today (Wednesday) following the signing of a licensing agreement with Compass International Pictures earlier this year.

The online slot features iconic moments from the horror movie which was directed and scored by John Carpenter and in which Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis starred.

‘Halloween’ is a 50 line game with the reel set representing the main character Michael Myers’ dark and derelict house. Much like the film, Michael persistently stalks the game; players may see him lurking in the window or behind the clothesline. The game also features iconic sound bites from the movie, along with the chilling soundtrack.

The slot debuts Wandering Reels, a group of three reels that spin together. The Wandering Reels contain Jumbo Blocks, which are large 3×4 high symbols that span three reels. The Wandering Reels can stop in one of three positions at random in the base game, which determines the reels and lines played. This feature allows for big wins, especially when it sticks to the leftmost position on the reels.

A Trick or Treat Wheel Bonus is triggered by three bonus symbols in the base game, and offers players the opportunity to multiply their stake with cash prizes, until they enter either the Boogeyman Bonus or Free Spins.

The Boogeyman Bonus is a pick bonus that takes place inside Michael Myers’ house. Players must escape Michael, as finding him ends the bonus round. Leaves reveal cash prizes which are combined with a multiplier that increases every time the player finds a cash prize, moving them closer towards escaping from the house. Players may find an immunity weapon, which can be used to prolong the bonus round if Michael is picked.

Free Spins are triggered on the bonus wheel if the player lands on any character (Laurie, Loomis, Annie or Lynda), except Michael. Nine free spins are awarded, during which, the triggering character will replace all other high symbols, including Jumbo Blocks. The Free Spins round takes place at night time and the Wandering Reels move to fixed positions over the nine free spins.

“Our Halloween online slot is a celebration of the classic horror film. The game studio creating this game are big fans of the movie and brand, and I think the passion they have is evident in the game,” David Reynolds, games publisher at Microgaming, said.

“The design and storytelling is superb and it presents a range of environmental effects that add to the suspense. This is combined with a feature rich game engine that will continually thrill players. As Sheriff Brackett says, ‘It’s Halloween, everyone’s entitled to one good scare’.”

New Slot From Quickspin Due Next Week

Mayana has a variable number of reels

Due for release on October 10, the latest online slot from Quickspin has a number of innovative features, including a variable number of reels; the game starts with a 3 reel and 3 line layout delivering 27 win lines, but changes to a 5×3 format and 243 ways-to-win as the action advances, with special re-spins unlocking the additional reels.

Other game features include multiplier rewards up to 20x stake, expanding reels and bonus rounds. There is also a random Mucha Mayana bonus feature than can drive the multiplier to its highest levels, adding to the tension and excitement in the game.

Quickspin claims the game has a 96.1 percent RTP, and that it is possible to achieve up to 750x stake.

The theme is the popular South American jungle and ancient Mayan storyline, laden with exotic wild animals and mysterious stone temples and idols.

Infopowa news was a staple of Casinomeister’s news from 2000 until 2019. Brian Cullingworth was the main writer, contributor, and was one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever known involved in the online casino industry.

We first met in January 2001 at the ICE in London where I observed him going booth to booth interviewing online casino, software, and licensing jurisdiction representatives. Brian was also heavily involved with our forum as “Jetset“, he was involved as an informal consultant to eCOGRA, the OPA, and was a player advocate who assisted countless aggrieved players with his connections to industry folks. He also published “Casino Cautions” via Infopowa news for quite a number of years. These can be found in our news archives.

His passing in February 2019 was a dark day for us. He will be forever missed.
