AppleJack, Odobo and Coral release martial arts game
The Gibraltar-based Odobo online gambling distribution channel has announced the first collaboration between itself, developer Applejack and operator Coral Interactive in launching the new martial arts-themed slot Champion of Champions.
With overtones of arcade combat action, the new game offers a 5-reel 20-line mechanic with three bonus features, all wrapped in anime-influenced artwork depicting vibrant characters complementing the strength of the storyline.
Players spins the reels while aiming to defeat the big boss, Yoshinobu, who rules a covert crime syndicate with an iron fist. Only four warriors are strong enough to face him and one of them may just become the Champion of Champions.
In addition to the high-impact game play and multiple bonus features, there are 29 achievements for players to collect, encouraging players to make return visits.
During the base game, striking three 'Versus' symbols across a pay-line triggers the Champion's Bonus' feature. Control of the warriors then falls to the player in a four-stage battle culminating with the fight against Yoshinobu.
The Golden Dragon bonus is triggered at random and ignites the symbols in an explosion that turns them Wild and brings some big wins in the base game.
The third bonus feature is a Free Spins round, where every spin has wilds on the second-to-fourth reels and can further re-trigger.
Rob Smith, Odobo head of business development, said in a statement Thursday: "Champion of Champions is a great example of new breed slot games. It has been designed with a mobile first strategy and the user experience is impressive across all devices."
