BitnPlay set to go operational early February
The latest Bitcoin-friendly online poker room, BitnPlay.eu, is set to go live early in February 2015, offering players the reassurance of depositing through Bitcoin wallets rather than via the gambling site itself… and receiving winnings in the same direct manner.
The operator is also touting an opportunity for Bitcoin-savvy investors to participate in the site's success through its BitnPartners initiative which is offering Bitcoin-valued shares in the business.
BitnPlay is entering a Bitcoin poker market niche dominated by SealswithClubs, which Pokerscout ranks at 43 globally with a seven-day average of 110 cash game players. And its intention to offer solely tournament action for now will hardly improve its competitiveness.
The site is coy about the origins of its software, revealing only that it is a: "…tailor made HTML5 client that runs on the browser of all devices; designed by poker players for poker players."
BitnPlay is operated by a new company titled Escrúpulos LRAR S.A, a Costa Rica-based corporation founded by Andreas Anastasiades and Ilias Makropoulos-Lalaounis.
