Mr Green informs UK Affiliates to Stop Promoting to UK Players

The affiliate programme behind the Mr Green online casino, have this morning sent out an email communication to their UK based affiliate partners, informing them to stop with immediate effect the promotion of the Mr Green casino to UK players.

As far as we know, UK players are still able to play at Mr Green and this action taken by Mr Affiliate who are responsible for the affiliate marketing of Mr Green, only concerns the promotional activities of their UK based affiliate partners. With the the affiliate programme citing ‘changes in compliance’ for the reasoning behind this course of action.

The email that was sent by Mr Affiliate, reads: “Due to recent changes in compliance, UK affiliates must pause all Mr Green UK Casino and Live Casino promotions for the UK immediately. UK affiliates must remove all materials promoting these products in the UK such as banners, text links, pop ups, social posts and any other marketing materials for the UK. Mr Green UK Sports are still available to promote.”

“Therefore, we have replaced all Mr Green Casino and Live Casino banners with Sportsbook banners. We kindly ask that if you see any Casino or Live Casino banners still on your site, to let your Account Manager know. We are working hard to resolve this issue and will be sure to let you know once you are able to promote Mr Green UK Casino and Live Casino once again.”

“In the meantime, if you have any questions please contact your Account Manager who’ll be happy to assist.”

On the 20th January 2020, Mr Green took the decision to close their sportsbook operation in Germany.
