Two more events wrapped up at the 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) Championship crowning Jason Mercier and Omar Zazay top of the heap in their events.
The Main Event featuring a $5 000 000 guaranteed prize pool attracted a field of 907 that included the likes of Dan Coleman, Joe Cada, Erik Seidel, Michael Mizrachi and Jonathan Duhamel.
After four days of play it came down to heads-up between Omar Zazay and Brian Phillis, Zazay ultimately emerging victorious after more than 100 hands.
"It was a really long journey — a four-day tournament and I was just trying to take stay focused and take it one step at a time," Zazay said after the win.
"It's an amazing feeling. This is very huge for me. It been a lot of hard work. I played a lot of poker and come up short lots of times and feel like I can do better so it's good to accomplish a big title under my belt."

The $25,400 High Roller – $1,000,000 Guaranteed Event 24 crowned Jason Mercier top of the table earning the Florida poker vet a handsome $652,800 paycheck which takes his career live tournament earnings to almost $16 million.
"It definitely never gets old winning. Each tournament that I have won over the past seven or eight years has definitely had a unique feel to it. It's a different experience every time. You're playing sometimes different games, different people, different cities. Anytime you can win a poker tournament it feels good and I'm just glad I won this one," an elated Mercier said.
