Some players say good riddance
The management of mobile sportsbetting site MB24 (previously known as Mobibet) has announced its intention to shutter the operation at the end of this (May) month, promising its players that it will honour its obligations to them.
Given the company's record of slow and no pays the announcement will probably be a cause for concern among players still awaiting their pay-outs, although there are a number who have greeted the news with "good riddance" posts.
The enterprise has managed to survive for just two years on the internet, during which time it has generated dozens of player complaints and been accused of unjustified winnings confiscations.
The site has been the subject of a blacklisting by the influential sportsbook watchdog and information site Sports Book Review.
