Isle of Man based Microgaming are all set to embrace the proposed new German gambling regulations that come into being in July 2021, with the casino software developer committed to ensuring their operators will be able to utilise their portfolio of games in the country.
The new set of regulations covering iGaming and online gambling in Germany includes introducing a raft of new measures designed to promote social responsibility and minimise gambling-related harm. This is a stance that the gaming software supplier fully supports.
Indeed Microgaming are not the only iGaming software developer gearing up for the changes in Germany next year, with most operators and casino software content creators putting in measures in place now, to ensure that they are compliant with the new rules and regulations.
Speaking about the changes in Germany, Leon Thomas Commercial Director at Microgaming stated: “As a socially responsible business, Microgaming broadly supports the regulatory changes in Germany, where we will be providing our customers with a solution that includes some of our most popular and successful titles – long before the new gambling laws coming into force next year.”
As a result of the above, Microgaming will ensure that by 15th October this week, a solution will be launched to conform with the German Toleration Regime, allowing clients to be technically ready to enter the German market at the flick of a switch.
