MGA Suspends Morpheus Games License
Directed to indefinitely suspend all operations under MGA license
The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has suspended Morpheus Games’ gaming license MGA/B2C/383/2017 as of 31 January, 2019.
The company, along with associated operations, has been directed to indefinitely suspend all gaming operations, cease to register new players or accept any deposits on the Licence.
The MGA declined to disclose the reasons for the suspension saying “no further information shall be released at this stage in order not to compromise any investigations that may need to be performed by the Authority and/or any other competent authority.”
MGA Suspends Betixx License
As of February 12, 2019
The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has suspended gaming licence MGA/B2C/247/2013 belonging to Betixx Limited effective February 12, 2019.
Betixx and the websites it operates are no longer authorised to continue conducting gaming by means of distance communications under an Authority licence, the MGA said.
“No further information shall be released at this stage in order not to compromise any investigations that may need to be performed by the Authority and/or any other competent authority.”
