Macau Revenue Up In October (update)

Third month running of increased revenues

October proved to be a good month for Macau operators for the third month running, with gambling revenue up 8.8 percent year-on-year despite wider industry fears of a renewed Chinese government clampdown on high rollers.
The regulator reported that newly opened casino resorts boosted spending in the southern Chinese offshore territory, pushing revenues up to 21.8 billion patacas ($2.73 billion) and meeting the top expectations of analysts.
